Group exercise and body recomposition

I am a personal trainer and I advise my clients seeking to get ripped to supplement their PT sessions with group exercise. Why?! It is a great fun; it saves their money, it gives thundering results! For “get ripped” purposes I advise BODYPUMP ™ and GRIT™ by Les Mills.

Of course, great technique, a bit of experience and an ability to push beyond the limit is a must for truly impressive results. However, those who have all these attributes often avoid group exercises for unknown to me reasons.

According to the latest research, BODYPUMP™ strengthens and tones your muscles no less than lifting heavier in the gym for a smaller amount of reps. The hypertrophy (growth of muscles) depends a lot on your diet here. Girls, you are not going to get “big” if you are not overeating. And even if you are, it will take time! Guys, it is possible to increase your muscle mass in the group fitness class. Make sure you eat enough. More on what to eat and how much here: The 5 Most Common Mistakes On The Way To Weight-Loss

BODYPUMP™ burns calories too! So you build/preserve muscles while burning fat. Magnificent!

GRIT™ is an utter, exquisite form of glorious HIIT (high-intensity interval training). It is cleverly designed and thoroughly tested by the accomplished fitness professionals. The sequence of exercises is well-thought, it works all your muscles, it aims to engage more fast twitch muscle fibers. You preserve your muscles while burning fat, yay! This workout is always varied and creative and although it is not to the beat of the music, you can notice how the music matches the exercise and helps you to drive through fatigue. The instructors are trained to effectively improve your technique and use different types of motivation (always encouraging, never intimidating) and finally, you do it with a team of same-thinkers! This all helps you to get the most of just a 30-minutes long class.

3 pumps and 2 grits a week can do wonders to your body! And mind.

PS. I prepared for my bodybuilding competitions by lifting my best in BODYPUMP classes and busting my nuts off in GRIT. [/spb_text_block] [spb_column width=”1/2″ el_position=”first”] [spb_text_block pb_margin_bottom=”no” pb_border_bottom=”no” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]
